What makes America so great? With the world the way it is right now, and with fear and ignorance running rampant, it makes you wonder what is so great about America.

In my mind, America is wonderful because we are the melting pot of the world. I love the mixing of cultures throughout our history that shows up in new and unexpected ways. It may be one of my favorite parts about weddings too. I love how couples choose the traditions that work for them or completely getting rid of traditions when it doesn’t work for them.

This elegant and fun-filled wedding in Asheville, shows just that. The mixing of two cultures to make one truly elegant and fun American wedding! We loved their choice of colors- lavender and grey- for their wedding. It matched the venue perfectly and made everything absolutely stunning. And with the groom dressed in black, he really stood out among his buds.

Kelvin and Shreya put on quite a party– The dance floor was HOT! I loved how the two blended their family traditions (Shreya’s family from India and Kelvin’s African-American and Latino heritage) and everyone had such a great time.
