Winter Wedding Styled Shoot

This winter wedding styled shoot was created by a combination of ideas between Marquise Photography and Eventive Weddings. Together they wanted to create a fun and unique winter wedding inspiration that took classic and glamorous and made them a little funky.

The colors that they wanted to combine were Emerald Green, Navy Blue, Burgundy and Gold. Typically most weddings choose around 1-2 “main colors” and through in neutrals to balance it out. We wanted to go for a more colorful and vibrant winter wedding styled shoot design than the average to show couples that you can choose as many colors as you want and (with the right design) it will look stunning!

The winter wedding styled shoot was held at Spring Creeks Ranch, in Carbondale CO. It provided for the most gorgeous backdrop for our winter wedding. Not only is it right next to a large snow covered mountain, but it boasts a gorgeous creek on property and tons of fun photo shots including an antique rusted truck and a snowmobile for their couples to use!

We also loved the fact that the venue allows for their couples to bring in their own fur babies on property!

The cake by far was our favorite part of the styled shoot. We were looking for an idea that would POP and Jack and The Fox Custom Cakes didn’t disappoint! The fun layers of fondant mixed with ornament style balls on the cake made for an awesome and funky winter styled addition to the styled shoot.

The Couple, Sarah and Darius, are an actual engaged couple that are working with Eventive Weddings, for their wedding in late 2020. They were super excited to be a part of this styled shoot to get the ball rolling in finding amazing vendors and learning how each vendor works. Their love for each other was absolutely amazing throughout the day and by the end of our shoot they were just having fun, relaxing and drinking some hot cocoa after a long freezing day.
