Can you imagine a more perfect wedding day? We loved the story provided by J&J Photography Studios about how Britt and Cody enjoyed their gorgeous New Years Eve Wedding.

Words from the Photographer:

“Britt and Cody got married on New Year’s Eve at the gorgeous Vue on 50 at Three Logan Square, Philadelphia, PA.

They started the day getting at their stylish apartment complex. Both Britt and Cody decided to rewrite their vows on the morning of their wedding day.

After rewriting their vows, it was time for the father’s first look. This has been trending over the past year, and it’s a really intimate moment between father and daughter–the first time dad sees his daughter on her wedding day.

After the father first look, it was time for the official first look, held atop their apartment complex

with gorgeous City Hall views.

After the first look, they hopped on the Philly Trolley works for a crazy city wide tour that included stops at City Hall, the Art Museum, Independence Hall, Race Street Pier, and LOVE Park.

The ceremony was held at Vue on 50, a gorgeous venue with floor panoramic views of the city.

You could not ask for better views of the city skyline. As the dance floor heated up, Philly Keys provided dueling piano entertainment to dance the night away. At the stroke of midnight, the staff shot confetti off the balcony and the couple shared their first kiss of the new year. The dancing continued until 1:00 am where Cody and his brother sang a final song as a duet to a packed dance floor. Best New Years Eve Wedding!”

Wrap Up

Taking time for yourselves throughout the day to enjoy your love and the love of your family and friends is the most important part of the wedding, in our honest opinion. It’s a day all about you, so you need to do everything that you want to do. We loved how Britt and Cody took the day and made it theirs! Starting off with rewriting their vows to each other followed by first looks between Britt and her father, this couple made the day their own.

We also loved that they provided a dueling piano for the reception and made time for a New Years Kiss with confetti raining down on them. The personalization added to this wedding was amazing. Especially with the last song being a duet between brothers. Sounds like a gorgeous and fun wedding.

When thinking about your own wedding, be sure you think about how you want the day to be. Do you want to wake up to a massage? You should go for it! Pamper yourself, add in personal touches, and enjoy your day to the fullest! Your wedding is all about you, your love, and your love with family and friends.
