Blush and Teal Wedding
This gorgeous Blush and Teal real wedding inspiration color combo really helped to bring out the beauty of the Colorado Mountain Views. Designed and Coordinated by wedding planner Claire with EventSlayer, this couple was looking for a wedding look that would compliment their love of bright colors and American style as well as their traditional Chinese roots.
Their hand built arch stole the show in their ceremony photos. Together, the Groom and Father of the Bride created this wedding arch as a “get to know you” project. This hand made, wooden, triangle arch paired well with the mountains and accentuated the view and the couple nicely during the ceremony. Their inspiration for this wedding arch was pulled from pinterest as an easy DIY project.
Along with mountains in the background, they added small mountain details to their reception style by using mountain shaped table numbers created from rocks found in those exact mountain ranges.
The teal and blush look made for a fun and beautiful reception look and paired well with both the bride’s ceremony dress and her fun red reception dress.
For their ceremony they included a sand pouring ceremony, to represent the unity of their marriage and the combining of their families as well as a Time Capsule filled with memoirs and the front page of the newspaper for their wedding date to signify the memories of their relationship so far.
Their cake was a delicious green tea cake made by a family friend in a traditional Chinese flavor. And as a favor to all their guests, most of whom traveled all the way from their home country, China, they gave them traditional Chinese candies and tiny utensils customary to use for Chinese dumplings. It truly was a beautiful and delicious wedding.
