Boho Wedding Inspiration Shoot at Red Rocks Park & Trading Post in Colorado

One thing that ALWAYS catches our eye when it comes to inspirational styled shoots or weddings: Bad-assery! When the couple, or stylist, goes out of their way to create something unique that reflects who the couple is.

We fell in love with this Boho inspirational Styled Shoot by Nikk Nguyen Photography and Melinda Mavers from The Ivory Swan for three (3) reasons. First- the motorcycle! If you are a couple who loves biking, be sure to have one! I grew up with a step-dad who loved to go out on his motorcycle. It became a tradition in our family to go out on the roads on clear beautiful days for a ride down country roads, so I love a good motorcycle shot. If you and your fiance are like me, why not get driven down the aisle? Or make the bike your get-away vehicle!

Second reason, the unique colors! We love the reds and oranges throughout this look and Nikk’s style of photography really pulls off the look with his saturated tones. When thinking about your over-all wedding, your photography style is definitely one worth discussing. Are you a traditional couple looking for photos that will always stay classic? Or maybe you are untraditional and want something more to your style like this saturated photography style?

Third, The Cake! We love a good cake design almost as much as we love eating cake! This quartz crystal inspired cake design is one of our favorites. It really pulls together the geographical features that the styled shoot was leaning towards in their design. Also- the sugar crystals used to create this style of cake are delicious and so sweet! So not only is this cake beautiful, it was probably mouthwatering to boot!

It’s no secret that Red Rocks Park and The Trading Post in Colorado are highly sought after venues by wedding photographers for weddings and inspiration shoots. This is the reason why we really wanted to do our inspiration shoot here. Needless to say, this location didn’t disappoint in the least. The vivid colors and rich tones afforded by this place made it worth every penny. It’s been a dream of mine to do a boho inspiration shoot here and now it’s in the books!
