Words from the Photographer:

Grand Tradition Estate always knows how to throw an incredible wedding day bash! Francesca + Andy tied the knot in front of their arbor terrace waterfall. Each detail was perfectly curated by an incredible team of vendors (see them below in the credits!). I knew these two would have a SUPER fun wedding after our engagement shoot adventure at Mission Trails. Their family knows how to party too, the dance floor was popping OFF! 🙂

Francesca fell in love with Grand Tradition Estate because it reminded of her tropical home in the Philippines. “We loved that there was green everywhere and the venue was just stunning even without any additional decor. We also loved the indoor/outdoor vibe from the tented pavilion”. Even though these two had a first look, Andy’s favorite moment was still seeing Francesca walk down the aisle. After the ceremony, they spent 10 minutes alone hidden away to soak up the moment before the festivities began (Francesca’s favorite part!). I think it’s SO important to make time for just the two of you on your wedding day.

I always ask my brides for advice for couples getting married. Francesca answered, “My bridesmaid gave me this advice, which really helped me throughout the wedding planning: pick three things that are most important to you and really prioritize those things, because with a limited budget you can’t have everything. Don’t feel guilty about splurging on those things (for us it was the venue and open bar lol), but also accept that you can’t splurge on everything. Lastly, with any pre-wedding stressors, just remember that the most important thing is that you’re still getting married, and all those little details will work themselves out!”

Words about the Ceremony

With words like that from Francesca’s bridesmaids there’s no wonder why the wedding went so smooth! Great advice made for a great night for everyone, not a single face without a smile the entire night. The tropical feeling venue definitely helped with all that too. From feeling as though you’re on an island it is sure to relax the mind as though you’re really there! Palms left and right and beautiful colorful flowers make for the tropical look that no one could deny and an outstanding sight for the wedding and backdrop photos. The moment the couple lays eyes on each other the fun begins, because they were laughing and playing around gazing at one another excited for their new lives together. Between the tropical colors and rocks in the background this leaves for the most gorgeous photos for the newlyweds to say their vows and for the crowd to cheer them on all the way to their just as fun reception.

Words on the Party

Just when we thought this wedding couldn’t be more outstanding, as we entered into the reception it made for more surprises, laughs and smiles! We waited in anticipation for the bride and groom to show off their dance moves and they definitely didn’t disappoint! Getting down on the dance floor seemed to be their 2nd nature. As fun and enjoyable as this couple was with their moves even the slower songs seemed to keep everyone participating. Francesca knew how to really get down and funky with her friends and family.

We always want the best for our couples as this journey in wedding planning can be hard in some moments. The fun times and that special day is what it’s all about and we think this couple knew what having a good time was. So, take advice from your bridesmaids on your day and it just may fall through throughout your entire wedding day, and that’s what we hope for!
