Rancho Bernado

The elegant, clean and romantic spot of Rancho Bernardo Inn Wedding Venue in San Diego is one any couple and guest couldn’t forget. The neutral color scheme of the beige walls, brown rustic doors and grey tiled foyer allows for every color to pop beyond belief. The couples colors were just as neutral but don’t let that fool you because they couldn’t have looked any more elegant with their sparkly bridesmaids dresses and black groomsmen tuxedos. Along their green grass ceremony aisle way the bride to-be walked down as stunning as you could imagine.

Reception Coolio

Much like the color scheme of beige, browns and blacks during the ceremony the color flowed to the reception as if to be one spot. With the gold plates and white linens the reception popped the color of the guests as they moved in waiting for the bridal party to arrive.

The groomsmen entered in style with their jackets thrown over their shoulders and some men even wearing shades to really pull off the cool look. As the ladies danced in with their hands held high ready to take on the dance floor. When the newly weds walked in though, the party began and everyone joined in on the dance floor!

Words from Photographio

There are few places in San Diego that are more romantic than the Rancho Bernardo Inn. They really know how to put together a fabulous wedding! I knew Julie + AJ’s wedding would be a HUGE party since they are both bartenders! We had so much fun together grabbing drinks at Herringbone La Jolla and taking their engagement photos all over the village.

Julie + AJ opted for a first touch instead of a first look, which was so emotional! They both agreed that their favorite moment of the day was seeing each other walking down the aisle. Julie said, “I thought I was gonna be an emotional wreck ugly crying down the aisle but the moment I stepped out I felt ready. I felt excitement like let’s do the damn thing! It was a moment I’ve been waiting for for so long. After that it was a breeze.” AJ said, “Not seeing her from the night before until that moment made it so much more special. After that is was dance party time!”

Rancho Bernardo Inn is known for their luxury feel and INCREDIBLE service! Having your wedding at RBI is an experience unlike any other. “The hospitality was unreal from the moment we stepped on property for our first tour of the venue to the day of our wedding. They had a bouquet waiting for me to walk around with during my tour to make me feel like a bride! I mean come on. How could you not die after that. “

Julie + AJ both had great advice for couples getting married. “Don’t stress on wedding day!! I know it’s hard not to but at that point things should be in play and ready to go so no stress or it will show in pictures and videos!!! Also to get a planner. Even if it’s just day of! It’s so so so important to have someone there running the show while you’re getting ready and relaxing.” I couldn’t agree with this more, and their planner Rachel kicked butt! AJ agreed, “Have fun and enjoy it! It only happens once and it goes by fast. Having a wedding planner is so important in letting you enjoy every moment of your special day. Also, don’t leave the dance floor!”
