Spring Wedding Inspiration in the heart of Koreatown
This Spring Wedding Inspiration Shoot is simply stunning. We loved their spring theme and use of details to make this styled shoot pop.
For this styled shoot, they wanted to focus on Spring and how to bring out the natural colors. We loved their use of wildflower arrangements in blues, yellows, oranges pinks and whites. The simple white vases made the whole look cleaner with the flowers being the center point of the color details on the tablescape. To tie it in together, they used light pink napkins and chargers which ended up flowing nicely with the furniture and rugs that they used.

To add a little more yellow into the design, they used gold silverware. We loved the use of gold/ burnt yellow water goblets, which made a great contrast with the blue flowers.
One of our favorite parts of this styled shoot was their attention to the food. Weddings are known for the food- whether it’s bad or good. But very few people think about how the food is going to actually look on the day of. This chicken/salmon over yellow rice with… is that chopped peppers? … actually matched the theme of the shoot and brought out even more feels of spring than with just the decor.

What many couples over ook when planning their wedding is matching the ambiance with the theme. This is something that this styled shoot did fantastically. Another example of this is the chocolate covered strawberries, cupcakes and the macaroons. Absolutely all of these deserts leave me with a feeling of spring and love.
The last thing that I want to talk about with this shoot is the details of their attire. Their choice of accent lace in both the tux and dress was absolutely stunning! When you think of spring you think of light, airy, growing, bright colors, birth, sunshine and so much more. This lace definitely screams spring and I’m in love with it’s inclusion.

And don’t forget their other attire details such as her flower crown and jacket, for when the night gets cold. This spring wedding inspiration styled shoot on a rooftop in the heart of Koreatown really pops with its understanding of wedding design and making all elements in the design make you feel like it’s spring.
Words from the photographer:
The inspiration for this styled shoot is to tie in the natural colors of spring flowers with some non-traditional bohemian elements.
For the wedding floral, we utilized pampas grass to add height and dimension to frame the aisle of the ceremony area. For the indoor, the light colored flowers were used to brighten up the area. It also complimented the tablescapes and furnitures we had.
The apparels used for this shoot was far from traditional. The team wanted to make a statement that your wedding dress does not have to be white, and the groom could also use a tuxedo with his personality in it.
The desserts we had for the shoot was inspired by whimsical crystals. It looked too good to eat!
The dessert area was displayed through a circular shelf. This way, we utilized the space we had more efficiently.
